We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant HR Advisor who is keen to develop their skills and experience in HR. This is an ideal role for those embarking on their HR career and will involve supporting a variety of areas within the Council to gain maximum exposure to all aspects of the generalist HR role.

There is a potential for this role to be offered as an Apprenticeship.

Operating as part of our business partnering model you will work with service managers, learning how to provide professional advice and challenge on a full range of HR matters including case management and change programmes. Our customers in the public sector are dealing with an increasingly fast paced and demanding agenda, and we help them to meet that challenge.

You will need confident interpersonal skills to be credible and influential with managers, colleagues and trade union representatives.
