We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to fulfil their career potential and realise their ambitions. The Career Pathways and Employer Engagement Officer role is an exciting new position, with the opportunity to help shape a programme that will make a positive difference to young people.

The role will support elements of the Council’s new ESF funded project, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Region of Learning (CPRoL). You will build relationships with local employers and businesses who offer entry level work opportunities, to persuasively communicate the project and its benefits, and develop career pathways for young people that can be mapped to opportunities to gain relevant skills.

This role would suit someone with experience of working in a career education, or employment related environment, and prior experience of working with young people who face barriers to employment would be desirable. If you have a positive approach and can collaborate with and motivate others, then this could be the opportunity for you.
