We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual who is passionate about scams awareness to help us support people and communities to build local resilience to scams and fraud. You don’t need to be an expert in this arena, as full training will be given, much more important will be your excellent communication and interpersonal skills and exemplary administrative and organisational skills.

You will manage a small, supportive and friendly team which works across the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough local authority areas and provide leadership to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Against Scams Partnership (CAPASP).

As the manager of the Community Resilience Partnership team you will focus on the design and delivery of scams prevention initiatives and manage the incoming referrals and support for victims of scams to help them to avoid repeat victimisation so that they can stay safe and independent in their own homes.

As the lead for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Against Scams Partnership (CAPASP), you will coordinate the collective efforts of the fabulous twenty partners already engaged, collaborating with them to deliver the themes of the partnership charter. You will lead on the delivery of communications on behalf of the partnership and other prevention activities such as scams awareness training. You will also build on the existing strong foundation of community support for the partnership, increasing the number of registered supporters who are committed to raising awareness of scams prevention. By empowering people to deliver community-led action, residents will be better supported to avoid the financial and emotional harm of scams.

This post is a fixed term maternity cover (for up to 30 hours per week) up until 10 June 2022. Quoted salary will be prorated dependent on number of hours. Interviews will be held on Monday 27th September.
