DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Salary: £33,799 - £38,813 per annum (City Pay Band 6)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Working within a small committed team as Development Officer you will play a key role in the delivery of high quality new affordable Council homes in Cambridge.

You will assist the Senior Development Manager in providing project management services to new HDA housing development schemes. You will take on the project management of schemes from pipeline, on site through to final certificate, ensuring effective snagging, handover and defects rectification processes are followed.

You will need to be a team player and be able to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders from local residents, to colleagues and the professional team. As Development Officer your role will be pivotal in providing effective communications to all these stakeholders. You will need to carefully manage risks and issues on projects you are involved with and ensure you keep the Councils systems up to date and accurate.

You will also be working towards or be prepared to work towards achieving a relevant professional qualification.
