Salary: £24,982 - £29,577

Breakdown of positions:

- 2 x Full time 37 hour positions in Cambridge city and surrounding areas.
- 1 x Full time 37 hour position in March.
- 1 x Part time 18.5 hour position in Cambridge city and surrounding areas.

The Alternative Education Provision and Inclusion Service is seeking to recruit 4 enthusiastic Education Inclusion Family Advisors to cover schools in the Cambridge city and Ramsey, Sawtry Yaxley area. The purpose of the role is to:

• Provide individual and group interventions with parents and carers, to support their children and young people with emerging needs to improve outcomes.

• To work in close partnership with schools and parents within the County to strengthen parental capacity and family relationships and to increase parental engagement in their local community and in their children’s education

• To deliver a mix of virtual and face to face workshops and a range of topics that include Digital Safety, Supporting with Feelings of Anger, School Transitions and Reducing Parental Conflict.

The successful candidates will join an established team of Education Inclusion Family Advisors offering a range of interventions including parenting workshops, drop ins and 1-1 support to carers and parents across the schools within the county. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, prior experience of working with schools, children and families and a sound working knowledge of IT. You will need to have access to your own car and will be required to travel on a regular basis. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
