We are seeking a talented individual to fulfil the role of Estates Surveyor within the Commercial Estates Team. You will be a Chartered Surveyor and have experience of dealing with all aspects of commercial property asset management including lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, day to day Landlord and Tenant management as well as supporting with property advice to services on land ownership matters. You will deal with lease negotiations, telephone, written and face to face enquiries from tenants, suppliers and stakeholders, providing explanations and clarification of actions taken and providing general advice and guidance relating to legislation, policy and procedures. Working collaboratively within a small team, you will have the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced and changing workload and an eye for detail to ensure our Asset Plan and budget are delivered and opportunities are followed through to conclusion. You will provide input to continuously improve service delivery within the wider Property team and to other Council service teams.

We need someone who is conscientious, self-motivated and has a depth of experience and good knowledge of commercial property leasing, property ownership legislation and current codes of practice.

We are currently working remotely and the role can be undertaken on a flexible basis which will include work from home and flexi time opportunities but candidates should be within commutable distance of our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire or able to undertake site inspections and attend meetings as required.
