We currently have one permanent vacancy for the role of Family Worker, within Wisbech Child and Family Centres.

The role of a Family Worker is to provide targeted individual and group interventions to children and families, with a specific focus on the 0-19 age group, enabling needs to be met where community-based support is insufficient.

You would be expected to work within a systemic/think family approach, in partnership with families, to strengthen their capacity to manage difficulties, meet needs and manage risk, and enable families to effectively utilise available support within their family and community networks.

We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic and dedicated worker. You should be a good communicator and team worker and be able to demonstrate how you have succeeded in working effectively; and ideally hold a relevant NVQ or similar equivalent qualification.
