FULL TIME AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for experienced finance professionals to join the Finance Team at Cambridgeshire County Council, supporting Schools, Education, Adult Social Care and Public Health.

We are looking to appoint up to four full-time and part-time committed and self-motivated financial professionals to support the team in the provision of a comprehensive financial support service to our customers and business partners within People and Communities.

The successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities and will be integral to supporting either the Schools Finance functions of the Local Authority, the Education Directorate or the Adult Social Care Service.

You will need to be a fully or part-qualified accountant and be able to demonstrate experience in budget setting, monitoring and planning, together with strong technical accounting skills. You should have a proven track record of undertaking complex financial analysis and possess the ability to communicate this information in a clear and professional manner.

The successful candidates must be proactive and able to work under their own initiative, as well as contributing to team projects. You will be an ambitious and innovative individual who is focussed on providing good quality financial advice to customers, with excellent communication skills to deal with both finance and non-finance staff.

As noted above the available roles offer flexibility and as such, applications from those seeking part-time employment will be welcomed - minimum 22.5 hours per week. Please state your preference for full-time or part-time in your application.
