An opportunity has arisen to join the Tenancy Management Team as a Housing Officer at Northampton Partnership Homes.

Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation, formed in January 2015 that manages over 11,000 homes on behalf of West Northants Council.

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for providing a responsive and customer orientated tenancy management service, predominately within a defined management area of Northampton.

You will be committed to working with internal and external partners to achieve common goals and ensure performance is maintained at the highest level.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with customers face to face or on the telephone, have experience of working under pressure and prioritising own workload.

Excellent written communication, to prepare clear and concise reports and letters, along with exceptional listening skills, to accurately obtain information, are crucial.

Knowledge of current Housing legislation, policy and practice, including Customer Care and Equality and Diversity is also required.

Employees of NPH are expected to support delivery of the organisation’s mission, vision and values as part of their day to day work.

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license and access to a car for work purposes, is mandatory, as well as a flexible approach to working hours to meet deadlines where appropriate.

This may include evening and weekend work on occasion.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact David Balsom on 0300 330 7003
