As a Learning and Development Adviser you will be passionate about developing people, with a proven track record in the design and delivery of learning and development programmes, providing innovative blended learning solutions to support workforce development and cultural and behavioural change.

The Learning & Development Service is a North hosted service, supporting two new Councils, North Northamptonshire and West Northamptonshire, created in April 2021, as well as Northamptonshire Childrens’ Trust, so there is plenty of opportunity to contribute innovative ideas and develop and shape our service to enable us to provide the best possible workforce development to our colleagues in all directorates.

We are looking to recruit two Learning and Development professionals who have strong leadership and management development experience and can support and lead in the delivery of learning and workforce development projects.

As an experienced L&D Advisor you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate significant learning programmes across all levels of management and professional staff, to support and equip the workforce for the future. You will be proficient in the use of technology, have excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills with experience of working to influence and introduce new approaches.
