We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development professional to support in the delivery of Leadership & Management programmes of work, including Workforce Development projects and the growing number of L&M Apprenticeships applications.

You will be passionate about developing people, with a proven track record in the design and delivery of learning and development projects, providing innovative blended learning solutions to support management and leadership development and cultural and behavioural change. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate significant learning programmes across all levels of management and professional staff, to support and equip the workforce for the future. You will be proficient in the use of technology, have excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills with experience of working to influence and introduce new approaches. Experience in the development and management of Apprenticeship programmes will be of an advantage.

The role will report into a Senior Learning and Development Advisor in the LGSS Leadership and Digital Team and is Fixed Term for 12 months.

You will have proven:
• ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• up to date knowledge of change and leadership and management development best practice
• drive to successfully design and implement interactive, challenging and stimulating learning content, utilising appropriate technologies
• excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of working to influence and introduce new approaches
• excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
• digital literacy, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft office, e-learning and webinar delivery
• ability to work proactively individually, as well as a part of a team
• experience of utilising fully blended learning approaches, technologies and methodologies
• experience of delivering a range of face to face management skills and / or change programmes

We are looking for people with a solid Learning & Development or Organisational Workforce Development background, with experience of delivering change and/or leadership & management development programmes. An experienced L&D professional with a clear understanding of workforce development needs is paramount to the success of this role, alongside the ability to influence key stakeholders and lead and manage a project team of advisors.

You will predominantly work from Angel Square, Northampton location although the role will require travel to other LGSS locations including Cambridgeshire.
