Working as part of the Council’s arts and culture department, this post will support marketing and promotional activities across a range of venues and events, including the Cambridge Corn Exchange programme, the Cambridge Folk Festival, and the City Events programme (including The Big Weekend, Fireworks & Bonfire Night, and more).

Whether you are writing and creating content for our social media channels, attending events in-person to take photos and video, liaising with promoters to support shows in the Corn Exchange, or proofing programmes and other hard-copy material before it goes to print, you will play an essential part in ensuring these events are successful and that customers enjoy themselves and take away a positive impression.

The successful applicant will have an understanding of best practices for social media and digital marketing, strong proof-reading skills including correct punctuation and spelling, and familiarity with content management systems for website and email content.

This post forms part of the Marketing and Sponsorship team, and works closely with teams from the Corn Exchange, Folk Festival and City Events, as well as external partners.
