We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work across Cambridgeshire within our Prevention and Early Intervention services. The aim of the service is to identify, prevent, reduce and delay the need for both short and long term care and support. It comprises of the Adult Early Help team, Reablement, Technology Enabled Care, Sensory Services and Occupational Therapy.

We are committed to growing an occupational therapy team that can provide preventative and strengths based interventions to enable people to achieve what really matters to them.

We play a crucial role in preventing admissions, promoting single handed care through specialist assessment and equipment provision, signposting, problem solving, facilitating discharges, and acting as a link between health and social care.

You will act as a point of expertise to the wider multidisciplinary team, providing supporting on complex cases, carrying out joint assessments, coaching and mentoring others to raise awareness of the use of occupational therapy in their work.

The successful candidate will be required to travel across the county and will need access to a vehicle.

The role of Occupational Therapist is offered on a full time basis of 37 hours a week under Scale P1, Salary Points 1 – 4 (£33,153 - £35,755). We have office bases across Cambridgeshire and the post holders work base is negotiable.
