Spinal Point G £9.73 – £10.71per hour (plus enhancements)
Arnold House is a specialised residential service for children with Autism and complex needs. We are seeking to recruit motivated individuals as relief Residential Care Workers. The post will involve working within an established team of staff, working shifts, engaging the young people living here in a range of activities both at Arnold House and in the community to enhance their progress and positive outcomes. You will ideally have experience of working with people who have Autism and have an understanding of strategies such as TEACCH, PECs and social stories. NVQ level 3 (Children’s workforce) or equivalent is desirable.
Shifts worked will be on a mutually agreed basis as required, depending on requirements of the home.

The successful applicant will work proactively to increase the opportunities for the young people and will support the Management Team in the day to day running of the service.

A comprehensive Training and support package will be given to the suitable applicants

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS clearance and 2 suitable references.

Applicants must be 22 and over (NMCS)
Enhancements are paid on unsocial hours which is 0.2 and 0.5 on a Sunday and 1.0 on bank holidays. We currently have six vacancies for this position.
