The Client Funds Team are looking to expand the appointeeship/ deputyship service and introduce a further Senior Client Funds Officer.
The role will support the Client Funds Team Leader and will be responsible for the day to day operational management of a caseload of clients managed by Cambridgeshire County Council.
The Client Funds Service delivers financial support to clients who lack capacity via appointeeship and deputyships. The post holder will be liaising and applying to the Court of Protection and Department for Work and Pensions for clients who lack the capacity to manage their finances ensuring the client’s income is maximised and safeguarded.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has an the ability to communicate at all levels in a clear, constructive and concise manner dealing with a variety of clients, third parties, government bodies and organisations.

The service currently operates from Shire Hall, Cambridge (but will be moving to the Huntingdon area in 2021). The officer will have the ability to work remotely and flexibly and will be required to visit clients in their place of residence.
The ability to travel throughout the county to meetings with clients /other Council representatives and outside organisations is required.
