Are you proactive and adaptable Social Worker looking to take the next step in your career?

Then now is the perfect time to Join the Fenland Assessment Team as a Senior Practitioner.

The Senior Practitioner role would ideally suit an experienced Social Worker who has good mentoring and leadership skills. The work is immensely rich and varied day-to-day and allows for a high level of multi-agency working often to tight timelines.

Our Fenland offices are situated in easily accessible locations, with great public and private transport links, especially from London and Peterborough. We also offer free parking.

Senior Practitioners will have a reduced case load to ensure that they can support the Team Manager and line manage staff within the team.

Here in the Fenland Assessment Team, we are dedicated to your personal and professional development. We have separated case and personal supervision as we believe that our Social Workers should be given dedicated time to focus on their own development, as well as their caseloads. We offer our Social Workers a variety of training packages that include Practice Educator programmes, Achieving Best Evidence programmes and PAMs.

Our other benefits include a competitive salary, a relocation package of up to £8,000, generous annual leave entitlement (28 days plus Bank Holidays), local government pension scheme and agile working.

But most importantly you will be part of a team that will have your back.

You must be a qualified social worker with current SWE registration.

If you like the sound of moving to an authority where social workers are truly valued, get in touch with us today by emailing welovesocialworkers@cambridgeshire.gov.uk

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
