We are looking for a full time Senior Practitioner (37 hours), to join one of our Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Teams.

We are keen to hear from you if you share our enthusiasm, commitment and determination for Fostering. You will be part of a busy, vibrant and developing Fostering Service. No two days are the same; you will be supported by experienced permanent managers and knowledgeable staff to drive forward our vision together.

We are a learning organisation and are committed to practice education and developing staff through reflective practice and supervision.

We are looking for experienced qualified and registered social workers who have a special ability to quickly form warm and nurturing relationships with Foster Carer Applicants ( both mainstream and private fostering) and Special Guardian applicants, to enable you to assess their suitability to care for our most vulnerable children. You will have strong analytical skills which will inform robust assessments and plans for court and panel and good mentoring and leadership abilities.

Our benefits include a competitive salary between £38,447 - £41,412, , generous annual leave entitlement (28 days plus Bank Holidays), local government pension scheme and agile working.
