The Corn Exchange is not just the biggest venue in the area it is also the busiest. We put on a whole range of events from the latest bands to children’s theatre, from huge corporate events to graduation ceremonies, from classical concerts to raves, weddings, parties and conferences. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team and demonstrate your previous experience of working with the public.

You’ll be playing a key part in the event delivery team, assisting the Box Office Manager and Venue Officers with the delivery of customer focussed services at the Corn Exchange and Guildhalls. Working as part of the Venues Team you will be responsible for:

 Working on Box Office Duties, including sales
 Assisting with customer queries
 Using the ticketing system and running reports
 Updating the website

This varied role will also see you on occasion support by event stewarding, serving on the bar as well as post show clearing and re-setting.

You will be an experienced event worker and as part of the Venue Team you will be key to the customer experience and ensure that all our events are delivered to the highest standards, creating lasting memories of great nights out for all our customers.
