An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Adult Early Help Team for a 1 year fixed term Social Worker. The Adult Early Help team provide advice and support to anyone over the age of 18, who is seeking support or social care. The team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Adult Support Coordinators and Welfare Benefit Advisors from a variety of backgrounds. They offer support to individuals and also to families and carers. The team is based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

You will need to have good and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries. It is imperative that you have strong communication skills, a confident telephone manner and can work on your own initiative. Good planning and organisation skills will be key, and you should be used to working under pressure to meet deadlines, allowing flexibility and resilience.
