The Learning Disability Partnership is recognised by NHS England as a best practice model for delivering fully integrated health and social care services. Our aim is to deliver innovative community support to adults living with a learning disability across Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for excellent Social Workers to be part our team, to work alongside our health colleagues that include OTs, nurses, psychologists, and therapists.

Social Worker Emma joined us this year from Children’s services.

“I absolutely love the whole MDT approach and have learnt so much from all disciplines expanding my knowledge and skills in many areas. I feel like I have really 'landed on my feet' in this team and this has been the best decision I’ve made. I have no doubt I will be in this team for a long time to come or for as long as they will have me! I can’t begin to express how comfortable I was made to feel within the team, how welcomed I was and how much support has been and is still in place.”

Quiet days at home for write ups, days in the office to connect with your team and at the local day service catching up with the community. With a high quality laptop and mobile phone, we encourage agile working.

You could benefit from a relocation package of up to £8,000, generous annual leave entitlement and pension scheme, flexible working, and excellent training and career progression.

To find out more about these opportunities and our plans for the service, please contact Lead Service Managers: Jill Johnson – 07879 435983 or Gareth Peters – 07876 8196371

If you are interested in joining our supportive and vibrant multidisciplinary team and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference, apply today!

This is a rolling campaign and candidates will be progressed shortly after they apply. The opportunity will be filled as soon as we identify a suitable candidate, which may be before the closing date. So please don't hesitate, we want to speak to you now!

IMPORTANT: This role will require you to enter the premises of a CQC-registered care home as part of your employment. Regulations which come into force from 11th November will require employees over 18 who enter CQC-registered care homes in England to have completed a full course of authorised COVID-19 vaccine doses at least 2 weeks before 11th November, unless they have a medical exemption. As part of your pre-employment checks you will need to provide evidence of your vaccinations or medical exemption. Your employment will not commence until this evidence is received.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to be reflective of this diversity, which we believe benefits our employees, the organisation and our communities.
