Children’s Services at Northamptonshire are in an exciting period of significant transformation; we can confirm that we will become a standalone Trust which will deliver services for two new unitary authorities across the county. We are currently recruiting energetic and passionate social workers to lead and develop high quality services.

This role is part of our new target operating model and is key to supporting the management team in improving the quality of practice across our two teams and supporting our social workers in managing complex cases. To do this well you will need to be experienced and skilled enough to effectively and diplomatically challenge practice where needed. You aim will be to ensure a high standard of service is continually being provided to the children and families we work with.

You will also have the responsibility of mentoring newly qualified and experienced social workers when you will be expected to encourage reflection on practice and will assist the team manager to implement the Signs of Safety model as a consistent practice framework

To be successful in this role you will have proven post ASYE experience as a social worker, you should already be trained and be proficient in the Signs of Safety model and should be able to demonstrate that you have previously been an effective and successful coach and mentor.

You will need:
• Social Worker qualification
• Social Work England Registration (previously known as HCPC)
• Enhanced DBS Clearance
• The right to work in the UK

This position is full time and based at our offices at One Angel Square.
