We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to manage and develop our Day Service at Victoria Lodge in Wisbech.

Victoria Lodge is a vibrant and busy centre providing support for Adults with a Learning Disability and for Older People during the day. The centre is open from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.

The Team Leader role will require a person who has excellent communication and negotiating skills to ensure service developments are successfully achieved using creative and imaginative solutions.

Promoting life skills development for people with a Learning Disability are at the heart of the service so you will need to have commitment and enthusiasm towards working with people with a disability and developing a service in a community setting.

The Older Peoples service provides daytime respite for family and carers, our users are often managing dementia and the service supports them by providing a welcoming, friendly environment with a hot meal and supporting them to maintain their independence.

The centre has an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible staff team who work hard to ensure those people that attend the service gain, develop and maintain their skills. The successful candidate will manage a team of Support Workers so will need experience of people management. and ensuring continued development of the staff team in a supportive and consultative way.

Starting salary for the role is £27,741per annum
