This exciting opportunity could be for those looking to expand their existing management skills and experience in a different service area or for a Senior Practitioner wishing to step up into a management role. This post requires you to be an experienced Practitioner committed to improving outcomes for children & young people, and are strengths based and solution focused in your approach to social work with families.

You will need to have good organisation skills, be an effective communicator, have a sound understanding of thresholds and have the ability to work closely with internal and external agencies. Knowledge and understanding of Family Safeguarding is advantageous but not essential as training and support will be provided for the right candidate. In return you can expect a supportive and encouraging peer and management structure and a chance to enhance your own skills and abilities in the area of Family Safeguarding.
