Are you looking for your next exciting challenge within the area of project management?

Do you have the desire to develop services to achieve the best outcomes for children?

We’re looking for a highly skilled, innovative and dynamic project manager to join our developing in house programme management office.
This is a rare opportunity, as the role will involve the full project lifecycle (from inception, through to development, delivery and transition into the business) on a range of exhilarating and cutting edge projects aimed at improving the delivery of children’s social care in Northamptonshire.
This role is office based with some homeworking.

About you
You will have a proven track record of successfully developing and delivering projects and ideally this would be within the field of social care. You should be highly skilled in establishing project groups as well as the tenacity to build excellent working relationships across the business to deliver change and transformation in busy service areas.
Providing the internal project management expertise to plan, document and deliver projects alongside senior responsible officers and service leads, we are looking for individuals who can provide a balanced level of support, control and challenge around projects without hampering flare, innovation and delivery. A good understanding of children's services or wider social services is advantageous but not essential.

About us

The Children's Trust was established in November 2020 to deliver Children’s Services to the newly established North and West Northants County Councils. The Trust is wholly owned and funded but operationally independent from the Councils. This provides the organisation with unique opportunities to explore new ways of working and to be more agile and adaptable in its approach to service delivery. We are developing a culture that allows the very highest quality of professional practice to flourish, delivering at the cutting edge of new innovation.

What We Offer

• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (with service rises to 32 days plus bank holidays
• Flexible Working
• Opportunity to buy back up to 5 weeks of additional holiday each year
• Contributory Local Government Pension Scheme
• Additional 12 weeks of maternity leave at 50%
• Employee discount schemes
