Various exciting and challenging roles within our newly formed Business Support Team

Following a review of the administration support services offered within the Adults & Safeguarding Directorate, we have some exciting opportunities for staff to join our newly formed support teams.

We would like to hear from experienced and professional administrators and also those looking to develop and enhance their support skills. You will join our motivated teams of support staff who work to the highest standards of customer service both internally and externally and where their aims are not only to strive and meet our stakeholder’s needs and expectations, but also to exceed them.

These exciting new roles will work with a number of social care teams, across different services types, in a fast paced environment and with a variety of daily activities.

o Senior Business Officers – Salary scale 6 (£24,313 - £26,317)

o Bases countywide, including Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdonshire, March and St Ives

These newly formed roles will require the following skills which will also be developed with training and support:
• Call handling, database analysis and updates, minute taking and communication in a variety of forms
• Possession of a solid background in office administration skills and techniques, enabling you to work autonomously wherever required
• You will be able to multi-task, prioritise your workload and work flexibly to support the needs of the teams you support and your colleagues within
• Your attention to detail and accuracy levels will be first rate and you will have excellent IT skills in relation to Microsoft Office packages and a willingness to learn new systems

You will be an integral part of your team during challenging and exciting times and your work will support shaping a new service as it grows to meet the delivery of services provided to the Social Care teams across the county of Cambridgeshire.
