Cambridgeshire Virtual School is a team of teachers and dedicated education professionals who work to support and improve educational outcomes for Cambridgeshire’s children in care between the ages of 2 and 18. The Virtual School brings together information about children and young people who are in the care of Cambridgeshire Local Authority as if they attend a single school. Additionally, Cambridgeshire Virtual School provide information and advice for children previously in care; including those who have been adopted from care, those under special guardianship and child arrangement orders. The Virtual School also holds a non-statutory strategic leadership role for all children between the ages of 0 and 18 who have or have had a social worker.

The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering this vision. We are seeking a forward thinking and passionate Education Advisor to work within the team. The successful candidate will have a proven record of offering both support and challenge to promote the education of vulnerable children. They will understand common barriers. They will be able to consider both the detail and the bigger picture. They will be proactive and creative in approach, understanding the need for effective communication and working as part of a wider team.
