We currently have a vacancy for a Young People’s Worker within the South Cambridgeshire, District Early Help Team.
The position is part time, 18.5 hours per week and we are looking for someone who can provide intensive 1:1 support for vulnerable young people in their homes, schools and community places across the District.

We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking professional who will:

• Be part of the Youth Support Service within the South Cambridgeshire District Team, focusing on delivering services for young people aged 12 to 19.
• Use a holistic and family centred approach to carry out assessments of young people’s needs and provide intensive one to one support.
• Plan and deliver targeted group work in partnership with schools and community organisations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records on relevant case management systems.
• Create opportunities and promote young people’s participation in the development, review, and implementation of services that they receive.
• Develop excellent working relationships with local schools and communities to develop support for young people across the South Cambridgeshire District.
