We are currently looking for a part time, permanent (18.5 hours per week) enthusiastic Young Peoples Worker (YPW). As a Young People’s Worker, you will plan, deliver and lead agreed support packages and programmes for targeted young people.

This role is part of the March, Chatteris & Whittlesey District Early Help Team. This role may take you across Fenland as required. As part of a District Early Help Team, you will work directly with vulnerable young people both individually and in groups following Youth Work professional principles and practices including best practice in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to meet the core outcomes defined within the specification for Cambridgeshire’s Youth Support Service.

This will also include working with the wider community and with key statutory and voluntary agencies to enable positive activities for young people and where appropriate raise external funding to provide positive activities. This role may include some evening and weekend work.

This is a permanent position. Salary will be between £24,982 and £27,041 pa, depending on experience.
