We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a good understanding of County Lines and the support available to young people.

Joining the team as our Youth Liaison officer you will take personal responsibility to develop and deliver a strategy that will enable the maximisation and co-ordination of youth work across partner agencies in Cambridge in order to provide diversionary activity for young people at risk of child criminal exploitation.

The successful candidate will have experience of work in a youth related service, as well as dealing with customers and stakeholders at all levels and work on the ‘Cambs Against County Lines’ campaign, developing and extending the current campaign. In addition, we will look to you to explore funding sources that support activities for young people.

We are looking for someone who can prepare, write and present reports for Senior Management Boards and working groups so excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral; are pivotal. As well as the ability to work independently and manage your own workload you will be able to demonstrate a professional approach and be able to think creatively.
