Do you have experience of children’s services in local government, specifically children’s social care or early help services?

Have you previously worked with the Liquidlogic System and have experience of how the system works and what opportunities exist?

We are looking to recruit a Business Systems Team Manager who will be responsible for leading a support team consisting of a Change Manager and 5 Business Systems Support Officers, as well as collaboration with other teams and 3rd party suppliers.

The role is in the IT & Digital Service and you will work with colleagues across both Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council to maintain and deliver effective systems support and development.

If you have a passion for problem solving, enjoy working with customers to understand their needs, and have an interest and sound background in business systems delivery, then this is the job for you.

The role involves understanding how services need to record information to comply with GDPR and statutory functions/reporting. The case management system covers a wider range of services and some processes will include payments to families or carers. You will be responsible for the upgrade planning and co-ordination of all children’s systems across the 2 Local Authorities.

In conjunction with this you will also be the knowledge specialist for supporting the team to undertake change and manage resolution of issues daily working across all stakeholders and securing the appropriate resources to take action.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough both fully embrace agile working, and this has been fully demonstrated during this Covid-19 period. As all staff have laptops, the entire service is currently working from home, but we are based in both Cambridge and Peterborough. Please note the Cambridge office will be moving to Alconbury Weald at some point in 2021.

Interviews will therefore be conducted via Skype or Teams remotely so please ensure you have the ability to attend via this method. interviews are planned for 27/29 or 30 July 2020.

If you are unlikely to be able to attend a virtual online interview during this time, please ensure you add this into your application so we are aware.
