We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable and experienced individual who is committed to delivering high quality services to a variety of customers.

You’ll lead on ensuring that our programme of heating system replacement and other mechanical services are delivered on time and within budget so you will need to be organised and able to multi-task. Your role will see you administer, supervise and inspect new and existing mechanical services installations. You will also oversee a wide range of mechanical servicing work in City Council properties of all types.

We will look to you to deal confidently and pro-actively with queries where you will be able to show us your problem-solving and decision-making skills. Our ideal candidate will have well-developed project and contract management skills as well as a good working knowledge of health and safety and building regulations.

You will be overseeing annual mechanical service improvement programmes well as developing and maintaining the mechanical asset register and asset numbering systems. In addition, you will be asked to provide specialist technical and professional advice/ support for all building works programmes.
