We are looking for someone who has a passion for developing digital tools and the innovative use of existing technologies, who will provide digital support and lead on the development, design, testing, and implementation of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Region of Learning digital platform. This is an exciting new role, with the opportunity to shape a ground-breaking programme that will make a positive difference to young people. If you are enthusiastic with a positive approach and can collaborate with and motivate others, then this could be the opportunity for you.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be able to work under limited supervision and as part of a small team. You will have up-to-date knowledge of mobile app/web development and user-centric solutions which end users find simple and intuitive to use. You will have excellent communication skills, and experience of successfully taking a digital solution through the design, development, test, and implementation phases. You will oversee the work of external project partners on the development of a dedicated mobile app/web portal, and be responsible for deploying digital devices that are compatible with mobile phones and smartcards, to acknowledge attendance at venues and locations where learning activities take place.

Known for your ability to work to deadlines, you will have experience of working to targets and monitoring project progress to ensure project delivery is kept on track. You will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the technologies, approaches and needs that are relevant to the Region of Learning project, and be able to clearly communicate these to a range of delivery partners and stakeholders.

In return we can offer excellent employee benefits which include flexible working, family friendly policies, a generous annual leave allowance, access to the highly valued Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), travel benefits, health & well-being initiatives, employee support scheme and learning and development opportunities.
