Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is an independent, not-for-profit company established in November 2020 to deliver the best possible opportunities for the children in Northamptonshire. Our responsibility is to deliver children’s social care and targeted early help services on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council.

The Strengthening Families Service (previously Targeted Support) provides better outcomes for children ensuring all children are safe, achieve their best in education, are ready for work and have skills for life, grow up healthy and have improved life chances and all vulnerable children achieve the best possible outcomes. Our partnership ambition is to offer and provide effective help to children and families as early as possible and when they need it.

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated team players with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will manage a caseload of children 0 – 19 and their families who are at risk of poor outcomes and entering high-cost specialist service. This will include undertaking structured and persistent one-to-one family support work as key / co-worker as necessary to meet family/ project needs. Helping families make changes to their lives by being creative and providing positive opportunities for children in their care is key.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the new forward facing Childrens Trust with a comprehensive package of support and training for the successful candidates.

Do you have the skills and experience to improve life outcomes for the most vulnerable children and young people through enabling their families to successfully and sustainably look after them into adulthood?
