Main or Upper Pay Scale for Teachers plus 1/2 SEN (actual salary dependent on individual’s qualifications and previous relevant experience)

This post offers an exciting and interesting opportunity for a successful, committed and motivated Teacher/Teacher of the Deaf to join the Sensory Support Team 0-25yrs Cambridgeshire as part of our peripatetic team.

The Sensory Support Team requires an experienced Teacher, with insight and knowledge of how to deliver bespoke language and literacy interventions. You will need to work closely with mainstream teachers, support staff, pupils, parents and the wider community to ensure that Deaf cyp have full access to the curriculum and consistently make good progress.

You will be a qualified and experienced Teacher or Teacher of the Deaf & will be willing to undertake training to enable you to support Deaf cyp. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of excellent teaching & learning practice including supporting a range of learning styles. This is a peripatetic role, so applicants will be required to work in other locations.
As part of the interview process you will be asked to deliver an 8 minute presentation on a topic of your choice.
