£38,813 - £43,662 per annum (+ £6,000 Golden Hello Recruitment Package) City Pay Band 7
With technical knowledge and experience of construction, you will join us with a recognised professional qualification in Building Control (RICS, CABE, CIOB). This role offers you the opportunity to utilise your professional judgement to interpret the regulations and associated technical guidance in office meetings and on construction sites. Providing a professional checking service to our customers, you will help achieve compliance with building standards, initiating and assisting with enforcement action where required.

£33,799 - £38,813 per annum (+ £6,000 Golden Hello recruitment package) City Pay Band 6
You will join us with some experience of interpreting technical drawings and carrying out site inspections as well as holding or working towards a professional qualification in building control (RICS, CABE, CIOB). Examining deposited plans and conducting inspections and other checks, you will undertake all necessary negotiations with applicants, agents, contractors and other statutory bodies to ensure compliance through to decision notice.

£25,295 - £28,785 per annum City Pay Band 4
With an ONC/ OND/ HNC/ HND in construction (or equivalent) or demonstrable on site practical experience you will be able to get on the job training as well as formal training to support you in obtaining professional qualifications. Working as part of our building control team will help you to develop your practical, problem solving and interpersonal skills as well as your technical knowledge and expertise.
